    BB-232LB9R retransmits 8 signals and carries ground line through. Computers with low-power RS232 ports cannot drive port-powered devices or full-length RS-232 cabling. BB-232LB9R amplifies weak signals to the RS232 Standard. Use for extending full-power RS-232 cable runs beyond 15-30m distance.

    BB-232OPDR isolator and repeater provides 2kV isolation for 4 RS232 lines (2 in each direction). Supports 2 data pairs or 1 data pair plus control signals in both directions. As a repeater it extends RS232 another 15.2 m. 4 data and 1 power LED. Terminal block connections. Power supply not included.

    Model 232SPHI4 isolates and protects RS-232 equipment from lightning surges, accidental high voltage shorts and ground loops. The isolator supports RS-232 data signals up to 115.2 kbps as well as RTS and CTS handshake lines. Model 232SPHI4 provides 4000 Volts isolation between sides — twice the rating of most isolators. DTE device connections are made through a DB-25 female. DCE device connections are made through a DB-25 male. The two sides of the isolator are powered independently to maintain isolation. Both sides can draw power from the RS-232 data and handshake lines, eliminating external powering requirements in nearly all systems. If the isolator is to be used with low power ports or when no handshake lines are available, external power can be supplied to either side or both (power supply not included, sold separately). This versatile powering configuration minimizes the number of supplies required by the overall system.

    Model 9POP4 isolates and protects RS-232 equipment from lightning surges, accidental high voltage shorts, and ground loops. RS-232 data signals TD, RD, RTS, and CTS are supported at up to 230.4 kbps. Isolation circuits are 2.5 kV rated and protects valuable equipment while maintaining maximum uptime. Each side of the isolator receives power from a single 12 VDC power supply to maintain the isolation. This powering configuration allows the device to be used in a system with only one power supply, regardless of the power provided by the RS-232 ports. The isolator uses DB9 male and DB9 female connectors. The female connector is wired as a DCE and should be connected to a DTE port. The male connector is a DTE and should be connected to a DCE port.
