Peripheral & RIO

Advantech offers different function modules compliant with the PICMG_CPCI-S_0_R2_0 standard.

  • MIC-3810

The carrier board provides a PCIe x16 connector for standard PCIe x8, PCIe x4, PCIe x1 PCIExpress® cards supporting PCIe Gen3 speeds. The carrier board can accommodate cards with maximum dimensions of 176 x 68.9 mm (6.9" x 2.7" inches).

  • MIC-3811

It is a dual mini-PCIe carrier board with two onboard SIM card holders and mini-PCIe connectors, routed by PCIe and USB2.0 interface. It allows connection with different types of Mini PCIe form factor add on cards like Wi-Fi/3G/4G LTE/GPS/DIO/CAN/ and MVB modules, either full- or half-size style.

  • MIC-3812

MIC-3812 is a 3U 8HP MXM carrier peripheral board, following the CPCI-S.0 standard. It can support 2 x HDMI 2.0 and 2 x DisplayPort 1.4a connectors on the front panel, with 1 x DP switchable to the backplane as defined by the user through onboard jumper settings.

  • MIC-3820

MIC-3820 is a 2.5" on board SSD/HDD carrier board running at SATA Gen3 speed. A fast swap of the drive can be accomplished via a reserved thumb screw to help open a door on the front panel and eject the drive. The excellent mechanical design makes it easy to replace modules.

  • MIC-3821

MIC-3821 is a 3U-4HP-height peripheral slot board for a CompactPCI® Serial system, equipped with quad M.2 socket modules. Each M.2 M-Key socket can accommodate an NVMe-type SSD module at max PCIe 3.0 x4 speed.

  • MIC-3840

The MIC-3840 is a standard 3U CPCI-S.0 form factor card featuring 8 ports for serial communication. It utilizes the EXAR XR17V358 PCIe controller, which acts as a single-lane PCIe bridge connecting to 8 independently enhanced 16550 compatible UARTs.

  • MIC-3860

The Advantech MIC-3860 series is a CPCI-S.0 standard-compliant peripheral board. It is controlled by a PCIe switch derived from the backplane connector P1 and is equipped with four Intel® I226-IT networking controllers connected to RJ-45/X-code M12 front panel connectors.

  • MIC-3861

The MIC-3861, a standard 3U CPCI-serial peripheral board, features an Intel® Ethernet Controller X710-TM4, providing dual SFP+ fiber ports and dual copper ports in RJ45 connectors. An alternative configuration supports an Ethernet controller X710-AT2 with dual X-code M12 connectors.

  • MIC-3954 D&E

The MIC-3954 series is a carrier board compliant CPCI-S.0 standard to support two kinds of functions by BOM option. It is routed by PCIe and USB2.0/3.0 interface to mini PCIe or M.2 connectors. It allows users to use different types of Mini PCIe or M.2 form factor modules for wireless connection.

  • MIC-3954F

The MIC-3954F is a 3U 4HP height peripheral board adhering to the CPCI-S.0 standard. It features four USB 3.0 ports on type A connectors to the front panel and supports up to two 2230 or 2242 form factor M.2 E key sockets. These sockets come with PCIe x1 and USB 2.0 interfaces.
